Port Authority Snow Meeting Report

Jerry Spampanato chaired the first snow meeting of the season. No major issues reported. Forecast - Their forecast shows snow starts at approximately 0100 hrs. Saturday, 1/21/12 and continues through 1300 hrs.. Major accumulation 0400 to 0900 hrs. with 3” expected, just in time for the morning rush. Terminals - All pax terminals reported no major issues expected, no cancellations at this time. AirTrain - service will be extended throughout the night. PA Operations - will be staffed throughout the night monitoring events. Conference calls -  not scheduled however, if the weather conditions deteriorate, i.e. snow over 6” or if we experience long delays in arrivals/departures, local government and stakeholders will be notified of the time of the call(s).
