**ALL TSO's** additional information for Snow Storm 1/12/11

On behalf of our AFSD-S Timothy Norris,  please be informed that your detailed assignment position at the ROC has been suspended for tomorrow.  Please report to your assigned terminal in uniform ready for duty.  Arrival time is flexible, anytime after 8am, for an 8 hour shift.  STIs are to report to Terminal 5.

Van Service in Case AirTrain Shuts Down for Wednesday AM

In case the AirTrain service goes down during Tuesday/Wednesday snow storm, the Coordination Center will be running a van shuttle to/from Fed Circle and Jamaica Station.

Pickups at Jamaica Station will be under the train tracks on Sutphin Blvd.

We will also have a shuttle working the terminal loop from Fed Circle and a shuttle from Employee Parking and the Subway (if the “A” train is in service) to/from Fed Circle.

Please be advised that there will be no set schedule for this service. The timeliness of this shuttle service depends on weather, roadway and traffic conditions.

The Port Authority has advised that there will be a bus shuttle if the AirTrain goes down but our experience from the last storm showed that the wait time for the busses was excessive.

Our drivers will attempt to make the shuttle as efficient as possible however they need to drive as safely as possible through what might be hazardous conditions. The CC will advise you if/when the AirTrain service goes down and any changes to this service.
